Prepress
Flexography
Symbology’s high-speed flexographic presses are equipped with 10+ color stations, and efficient in-line die-cutting. Engineered with high energy-efficient LED curing, our presses run faster with less downtime. Flexographic printing is recommended for large-volume jobs, precise color matching, unique substrates, multi-layer designs, including a variety of embellishments. Our expertly skilled operators are dedicated to delivering the highest-quality results on every work order.
Digital Printing
Our digital presses utilize electro-static 4-color process printing to produce beautiful images at meticulous registration standards. Our techniques offer streamlined and cost-effective solutions for printing dynamic serial numbers, barcodes (including 2D, GS1, QR, HIBC), graphics, and text. As with all printing equipment at Symbology, our digital presses are engineered with high-efficient LED curing lamps which means production is efficient and more precise.

Our quality management system is rooted in documentation, inspection, and continual improvement of processes and equipment. We have partnered with Baldwin Technologies to upgrade presses with 100% inspection cameras that offer full web display, defect detection, and archivable data.

Cold Foiling
Our cold foiling techniques are great for creating beautiful, metallic embellished labels that your consumers will be drawn to. Cold foiling is a process that works in line with our flexographic or digital printing process making it a cost-effective solution for creating visual impact.

Inks, Coatings and Varnishes
We offer a wide range of water based and dual cure UV/LED inks and coatings from our supply partner Siegwerk. Options include standard PMS colors, metallics, fluorescents, FDA approved inks and many more. We can also custom color match so that you get exactly what you are looking for. In addition, we provide an array of matte or gloss varnishes to embellish your label.
Metallic Foil Embellishments
Brands choose Symbology for Prime labels. Often used when marketing design eye-catching embellishments to elevate product sell rates, the cold foil print process at Symbology infuses metallic accents marketers appreciate. Legacy embellishment choices such as hot stamping, embossing, and debossing create labels with texture and dimension for design or functional consumer engagement.
Materials and Laminates
We carry a large variety of paper and film materials that are high-performing and aesthetically appealing with the ability of helping brands meet their sustainability goals. Our paper face materials offer great printability for high-end graphics while fulfilling a range of functions such as resistance to heat, cold, or humidity. Our film face materials can be adapted to meet a wide range of requirements and limitations. Film labels are moisture-resistant, tear-resistant, and resistant to oils, sun, and fading, making them a more durable alternative to paper labels. A selection of matte or gloss laminates can be layered on to protect your label from scuffing.
